Lake Tohopekaliga was announced Sunday evening on ESPN as the site
of the 2006 CITGO Bassmaster Classic, bringing the prestigious bass
tournament to Florida for the first time since 1977.Not
only is the Classic making only its second appearance in Florida in its
35-year history, the BASS championship will come as the first
tournament of the season, much like the Daytona 500 opens the Nextel
Cup season as its main event."It just makes.....
