Not everything

I run into "full bass" often, usably gorged with shad or cray fish, they
are so full, when I am un hooking them they are spitting up these, and
their bellies still fill full.

Normally I use a very small lure, just a tid bit, and wiggle it in one
spot,, they will eat it, if you make it a treat they just can't pass up
