Been here since June 2nd.

First two weeks it snowed nearly every day

Then it rained daily for a couple weeks.

Now it's been blue skies and cloudless for a few days.

The Firehole was good, as always, in June ... I fished it a bunch.
The Madison in the Park is still fishing well as of a couple hours ago.

Reports on the Madison below Quake are that Salmon flies are going in
the float section, the 3 Buck bridge area is nymphing well and starting
to get into "real" fly fishing shape.

The most common critter in the world is humanus flyfisherus, there are
thousands of them hiding behind every tree and bush, all dressed funny
and certain they are doing something "different" than the common crowd

I've stuck a few big fish on the Fork, an example

but mainly I've had to be content with fish in the smaller brackets.
Hebgen "should" start producing the first gulpers soon. I may even try
the Madison down below Quake soon, I bought a season Montana license
and having used it one day yet!

More water this year than any in the last 5 :-) and things are running
a bit ( week, 10 days ) behind those years, hatch wise

Be good ... dang, I forgot I was posting to ROFF .. strike that
