Default color does matter

I got to the lake yesterday evening about 5.30 ,launched the boat and
headed up the lake.First place I stopped were laydowns bordering a deep
drop off .Tied on a 4 inch green senko and got bit on the first cast.Caught
several dinks on the next several casts.Moved on up to a road bed fished
the ditch line and caught a couple more dinks.. Headed to my third spot , a
sharp drop rocky point... went to get a green senko and not one in the
boat,nada , zilch ,zero.Tried several other colors [ 5 in ] on with out
any action so I searched again and came across a old bag of TIKI wave [4
in ] in watermelon w/ red specks First cast and almost as soon as it hit the
water a 16 inch keeper, next three casts boated 3 more good fish.Next cast
was a missed hookset and as I was retrieving the bait another bass
hammered it in open water. All together six fish in six cast.Fished this
color a couple more hours in several places and had good luck every where I
went.. Great day on the water.. I guess this is my new favorite color
