craig matthews, in person, speaking to fychoc, confirmed fawn lake for
big brookies...and grizzlies. it's definitely off the beaten path.
pleasant 6-7 mile hike up glen creek/fawn pass trail. trailhead is 5
miles south of mammoth. take a float tube, small flies...unless a damsel
fly still survives in september.
