Keep a topwater tied on - Hartwell is famous for its topwater bite on
sunny days out on the humps and ridges. Pop-rs, Sammy's and Spooks, and
Flukes are great. Also around bridge pilings. We caught about 20 one
morning in June when I was there working on a Georgia Outdoor News
article - watch for those redeye bass, too.
