I am not an avid Bass fisherman. I am looking for some proven Clouser
minnow patterns that work real well. I know how to tie these I am just not
sure on real good color combinations to use. If you have a favorite Bass
pattern I sure would appreciate your input.

Try chartreuse over white, black over chartreuse over yellow (fire tiger?),
red squirrel tail or brown squirrel tail (crawfish imitation).I tie a simple
crawfish pattern that is nothing more than a pair of dumbbell eyes on a
dubbed long shank hook with a bunch of squirrel tail on top (ends up on the
bottom). It takes less time to tie than to lose!

Try adding a few strands of crystal flash or flashabou at the lateral line.
