Default Basic Bass Fishing Article

Just read "Just a Good Basic Article From Vernon On Catching Bass" on bass
fishing by a neighbor or ours, Vernon Sutherland, of Franklin, TN. For a
while it will be where you can get to it on the main page of
http://dougoutdoors.com/.

Doug Markham is a Tenn Wildlife Relationship Agy. officer who has a very
good Saturday morning radio show and a middle-Tennessee cable TV show that
covers hunting and fishing issues.

This week he had on the fellers who own and build Hammerhead Jigs
(www.hammerheadjigs.com). I keep a supply of those hair jigs for smallmouth
water. One series happens to have been designed by SWL prostaffer Bob Popp
up in Maryland for the eastern smallmouth rivers in his area. All their jigs
look just like the hand-poured and tied leadhead jigs my uncles Ed and Al
used to make, and they're hot smallmouth baits on lakes like Tims Ford and
Dale Hollow.... they should work well on Mohawksin smallies, too. I have to
be careful who I show them to, though.... every time I bring them out,
whoever sees them seems to think I'm offering them as gifts, so I lose more
to fishermen than I do to fish.
