I use the Danvise. Why? Because *somebody* told me it was the best value
on the market. I think it was the same weasel-monkey that's now jumping

Seriously, for the tying I do, it's a great vise.

It is a great vise. One of my options is just get another one (and if my
daughter gets accepted to some of the colleges she's applying to like
Harvard, I may exercise that option). I've beaten the crap out of the
thing, its a first generation Danvise, and, after some minor disassembly and
repair, it still works fine. Just want more speed.
