I have caught many turtles while bass fishing in weeds and such in
Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Various types of Snappers. All you can
do is cut the lure, which mostly and thankfully they hit is rubber worms.
Some places like the broken bridges area in Leesville Louisiana is so full
of turtles every cast will get you a turtle.
