I've been fishing small streams most the summer, and have found
I can cast much more accurately w/ bait cast (ie in to / along brush
than I can w/ spinning gear. I've been using my "regular" weight
rods and reels, but am now looking for something lighter.

Recommendations?

Thanks

Jim

I can throw 1/8oz. Rattle Traps 120' with my Daiwa Pixy and Megabass
F0-60X Elese combo. The secret is to stick with light line (I use 4#
Yozuri Soft). A Pixy on a ML rod that's rated down to 1/8oz makes a
great replacement for a spinning rig. I cast a 1/16oz Aile Goby almost
100'. Anything over 1/4oz seems heavy to me.
