I'd go with a big Zara Spook, or possible a Hedddon lucky 13, something big
and heavy that you can cast real far, something that makes a lot of
disturbance, I'd then work a weighted worm or creature bait across the
bottom

This was not a hypothetical question. I am a long time trout fly
fisherman and thought it time to catch a big bass. It was good to get
the spinning rod out. I did try the lake yesterday and caught a 13 inch
largemouth on a "Superdooper" lure/spoon. At lunch today I wil pick up
some spinnerbait and try it again.
