If you bought a diesel you can come out ahead on the fuel cost believe it or
not. Diel is a little less costly.
My F350 dualie w 4.10 gears averaged 19.4 mpg on the last trip without the
fifth wheel for 2800 miles total. On level highways we got around 20.4 mpg
but my wife drove and kept it around 1900rpm or 63 mph.
