Default cloudy water

Hey builder,

Yes, you can catch fish in stained or muddy water. The still have to eat
regardless of the clarity of the water. It is just a matter of one adapting
to the conditions at hand. I will often look for stained water, such as a
runoff after a rain, in a clear water lake.

The fish will generally be shallower and not so tight to cover in stained
water than in clear water and not as easily spooked.

In the conditions that you describe, try using a lure that will make more
noise such as a ratttle bait or a spinner with colorado blades that will
produce a good thump when retrived. Also use more vibrant colors such as
chartruse. Both of these will help the fish to hone in on the lure under
limited visibility.

Keep yer line wet and yer fanny dry.

Can you catch fish in cloudy water? I'm thinking of the situation where

rain
erodes the bank and stains the water. Tonight i skunked and that was the
fishing situation. The night before i tied into four and it was a clear

water
fishing situation. I think it is a waste of time horseing a minnow plug

thru
stained water situation. I tend to look for a clearer body of water. I've
encountered this fishing situation before and i'm sure i will aft.
