Give him a few days to recover from the fight and then fish the area
carefully with your best baits for the time of day, light, and weather
conditions.


P.S. I try to always net topwater or crank bait fish. I also change out
hooks, and contrary to popular belief I go for a rather solid hookset to
bury the hooks. (not as hard as when flipping plastics)
