Well, you know. I thouht about that too, and I think you are right. Its
just something that makes such a difference in loops tangles and snarls on
spinning tackle that we tend to just lump it all together.


I always thought flipping the bail by hand, or cutting off the bail and
just using the roller, was for eliminating loops on the spool and the
problems they cause. Never heard anything about it helping with line twist.
