I noticed that the drop shot rig tends to get all twisted up and takes
some time to straighten out quite often when fighting a fish. Is there
something that can be done to reduce that?

So anybody got any feedback on that?

I don't use a drop-shot rig too often for bass, but I have found them to be
very effective when walleye fishing. I really haven't noticed a problem
with tangling or twisting. Of course, I'm using 8 or 10 pound PowerPro and
that might make a difference.
