I think you'll find it's POVERTY that causes crime, not the colour of one's

That's only your opinion. If poverty caused crime, then why do the
wealthy commit crime?
If the ridiculous racial disparity in the US was reversed - as in all
white people were replaced with black folks and vice versa, you'd see that
WHITES would be committing more crime than blacks.
