I think it had been Hatches by Caucci and Nastassi (Hatches II now), which
is good. I don't have it but I've heard Mayflies by Knopp and Cormier is
even better, and has been compared to LaFontaine's Caddisflies more than
once.


I second the recommendation for Knopp and Cormier's "Mayflies - An
Angler's Study of Trout Water Ephemeroptera". It is an excellent book,
well illustrated, and entomologically correct.

It was published in 1997, and shoudl still be available.
