Default Shimano Sidestab Spinning Reel

It's an excellent reel!
I have two of them!

My 15 year old Daiwa has a broken "anti-reverse cam spring". I'm going

fishing
this weekend and I won't be able to get a replacement spring in time for

the
fishing outing. It's a Daiwa 1055 model with auto-cast and rear drag. The

guy
at the repair shop said it was a very good reel in its day and was worth
repairing (I know, what else would he say?!).

Anyway, I don't want to spend a lot of money on what would be a

replacement
reel and I wanted to find one with auto-cast and rear drag for under

$50.00,
preferably around $30.00. The only one I could find that is readily

available
in my area is a Shimano Sidestab.

Anybody have any comments, pro or con, on this reel?

Thanks,
Sylvester
