Which parts of each canal?

Cheers for all the info so far.

Anywhere on these canals, pike are found in most stretches, but beware,
too close to Glasgow and your car could be broken into or stolen, or you
could be mugged for your tackle.

What !
You are a pratt, if that is what you really think.
In any case the OP is most likely a Glasgow
resident, and could use public transport, or
even a bicycle.

Pike are most likely to be found in areas of weeds
or shaded areas underneath overhanging bushes etc.
I have found that pre-baiting a likely spot with a
few sardines on successive days, will produce
good results.

Hope that is of some help, but see here..........

Warning issued by the Scottish Federation of Coarse Anglers

Security: The rural sections are generally ok, but there are risks to
cars parked in small secluded car parks. However, some of the sections
in Glasgow are dodgy. There are confirmed reports of personal violence
and threats to anglers and gear being stolen in Glasgow, at Firhill,
Westerton, Blairdardie and Maryhill, and in Clydebank. There is a police
presence on the towpath.
