I had my new buddy all weekend,, he's 17 months old now,, I'm waiting
for the first day with him holding a pole (this summer I hope) were are
already practicing him fighting a fish (toy fishing rod, and reel and me
being the fish) His sister considers herself a pro, she's 8 now, and
would rather fish than anything else, even play with her friends, or go
shopping with grandma.

Aren't grand kids wonderful,, I knew I didn't kill my kids when they
were young for a reason :-)

Now my daughter, finally, (She's 30 and this is her first) is going to
give me another fishing buddy next June,, I'm in heaven
