First cut off the bait, second, while you are trolling along, release
about 100 feet of line out behind your boat. Re-engage your reel and pull
the line through the water for about 2 or 3 minutes at a speed of about
10mph. The friction of the water pulling against the line will remove the
twist. Reel the line back while still moving.

Actually, there are some non-boat methods which will work, perhaps not as
well, but they can definitely help. Access to a pier, stream or long enough
section of shoreline can get the job done. I've also read that walking the
line through grass works too, but I can't verify that. I've used the other
water methods.
