If I have a small window of time I fish local streams with a 7'6" fly rod
for anything that will bite. Pound-for-pound there is nothing like a
Pumpkinseed on a fly rod. Squash your barbs down for added excitment.

In the recent Bassmaster magazine there is an interesting article
about fishing streams for bass. Here in Northwestern Pennsylvania we
have excellent streams and creeks that are targeted for trout for the
most part, but they contain a variety of species of fish. Any folks
in this newsgroup fish streams/creeks?
