What's the best method for fishin' for walleye?

I got a buddy at work who's headin' to Canada fishin' for walleye, but he
don't know how he should fish for them.


Short answer: Troll around the lake using Shad-Raps or live bait rigs
(your choice of minnows, crawlers, or leeches) until you find them.
Look for submerged islands, points, or dropoffs. Sonar is very helpful.
Once you locate a school of fish, drop anchor and use jigs tipped with
live bait. The best fishing will be at sunrise and sunset.
