Default Stream fishing

Hi Richard -

Thanks for the response, and thanks to the other guys that responded
to my question.

I am a die-hard fly fisherman as well as bass fisherman, and I agree
that you can't beat bluegill on a 4 weight fly rod - they are the
scappiest - I catch most on foam ants, beetles, etc. that I tie.

The reason I posted the initial message was most of the ROFB guys fish
lakes - I was curious as to streams.

Regards,

Dick

If I have a small window of time I fish local streams with a 7'6" fly rod

Pumpkinseed on a fly rod. Squash your barbs down for added excitment.

In the recent Bassmaster magazine there is an interesting article
about fishing streams for bass. Here in Northwestern Pennsylvania we
have excellent streams and creeks that are targeted for trout for the
most part, but they contain a variety of species of fish. Any folks
in this newsgroup fish streams/creeks?
