I have been reading an older book on bass fishing (mid 1980's). In it
'cofilament" line is said to be the line of the future and superior to all
others. Basically a nylon sheath over a dacron core .Yet now, I see no line
advertisement or description that mentions the word 'cofilament'.

Ah yes, I seem to remember seeing ads for "Prime Plus" cofiliment, I think it
was from stren. Never tried it and haven't seen it in years.
