windfarm at Lochluichart
I think anyone has the right to object to such plans. The decision will be
made, not locally but by the Scottish Executive. The local council has
already made an objection but in previous cases this does not seem to matter
to the executive! This is a large windfarm, it effects the whole country,
the whole country should have a say.

I do live next to the proposed windfarm and I think that if I had not
mentioned it here you would not have known about it. These developments
are
left to local people to lodge objections. I think there are only 20
houses
within 5 km of this windfarm. There is no national strategy for their
location. This windfarm will cost just short of £100,000,000 (is that
100
million?) to construct. I am almost retired and will hardly see the
windfarm from my house however a vast area of wild Scotland will be
destroyed. Loch Nam Faidh lies within this windfarm area and is a good
trout loch. Eagles and ospreys fly in this area. This is not the place
for
a windfarm. We need your objections. The Scottish Executive is not
going
to pay much attention to 20 objectors!
Legally the only people who have a valid objections are those local
people,
all other objections can be ignored, so why do you need other objections?
