Default Should they make life vests from Kevlar?

I grew up working in my folks grocery store. It was in a rural area of the
desert. We routinely killed poisonous snakes for the safety of our
customers. Later when I learned how tasty a rattlsenake is I always deep
fat fcried the larger ones, and of coursed tacked out and dried the skins.
I don't believe in wasting things if I can help it.

I shoot poisonous snakes for the same reasons people pull poison Ivy or

swat
mosquitos... it makes a ton of sense. Mother nature is more than welcome

to
replace them with the non-poisonous variety, and then we can all get along
just fine.

Just curious, why would you shoot snakes?

Funny, that's never happened to me here in TX. Of course it's always a

good
idea to boat armed, for snakes and such.
