Default Time to replace the fish finder...

That's the same model (240) that you've seen on my boat, and like Joe says,
I love it! It matches my 172 GPS.

The Garmin 160 is pretty much toast... or at least it was the last few
times
I was out on the water. So, I'm looking to replace it before March and
can't
decide on a unit. I bought an Eagle 320 for the front last year and was
considering getting another. However, I really like Garmin, but don't care
for the direction they have gone with the smaller units. They kind of
remind
me of the Humminbirds....

Any suggestions for a unit in the $200 to $300 range?

Thanks
Charles

Charles,
I have the 240 and LOVE IT! Prices have really dropped since the color
ones
came out. I had one issue with it when I got it used with my latest boat
and
Garmin took care of it fast and friendly. Their support lured me away from
15+ years of Bottom Line whose support has gotten so bad I needed the
South
Dakota AG's help to get them to cover a warranty issue 2 years ago.
