We can bitch about balance and justice all the day long but when we
can't be balanced and fair, by what ethical standard can we hold them?

The shooting.....as appalling as something like that always is......was,
presumably an accident. Probably involves some level of stupidity or
carelessness....negligence....whatever. I agree that folks are definitely
going overboard about that.

But the secrecy....and the spin....."spray".....for God's sake?

A hypothetical situation:

Let us assume that things had gone the other way around.......that Mr.
Whittington had shot Mr. Cheney......and didn't bother to tell anyone for a
day or so.......
