Well, let's look at the parallels, shall we. Fonda went to the capital of
our sworn wartime enemy and made speeches critical of the US. Gore went to
the country of one of our closest allies and urged an end to discrimination
against and abuses of a religious minority in this country. Brotherhood,
peace, understanding. Damned seditious stuff that.

Now if you want to argue that Saudi Arabia is our sworn enemy, I'd strongly
suggest that the Bush family and administration be fitted for blindfolds and
a cigarette asap.

As for the rest of it:

Iran building a nuclear weapon
(and probably North Korea too), Mexican military incursions across
our borders in the southwest, world wide Muslim riots over a cartoon,
a crucial war being fought in Iraq, Hamas elected in Palestine, our
SS and Medicare going down the toilet while Congress sits with their
fingers up their collective ass,

....the buck stops where? Oh wait, I forgot. It's Bill Clinton's fault.

and you're worrying about Cheney
hiding *something*, *ANYTHING*, about a hunting accident.

I'm not worried about it; but a certain degree of honesty and forthrightness
when the VP shoots somebody in the face doesn't seem like too much to ask.
Silence isn't honesty. Passing the buck isn't honesty. I realize it's not
like Dick got a blowjob or something, he only shot a guy.
