No doubt this story will soon subside, if no other reason than that the
Bush administration is trying award the contract for our Eastern
seaboard port operations to a state-owned Dubai corporation. How stupid
is that? Bush threatens to veto any legislation preventing it. It would
be his first veto. Two people in his administration, including Treasury
Secretary Snow, have financial ties to the Dubai corporation. Dubai,
part of the United Arab Emirates, recognized the Taliban in Afghanistan,
laundered money for Bin Laden, and the Emirates were an operational and
financial base for the 9/11 hijackers. The administration's response?
"Trust us." HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Once a politician becomes a laughingstock, he remains a laughingstock.
