is one of the best comic strips around. Watterson took Walter Mitty and
made him a kid -- sorta.

The Chicago Tribune re-ran Calvin for a few months as Christmas
approached. Was an awfully nice gift.

I almost committed suicide, when Watterson ended the series, but I figured
that he might go back on his threat and begin doing then again. I should
has gone huntin' with Cheney when I had the chance.

I was equally devastated when Bloom County ended, but held out hope for
Outland--alas to no avail!
