You don't think he was kidding do you?

Hm......

Well, I've never actually fished with Roger, so I can't speak with the
authority of first hand experience to the question of his prowess in matters
pertaining to angling.....or even whether or not he does in fact fish, for
that matter. On the other hand, we have the testimony of sundry more or
less reliable witnesses, as well as his own contributions here, supporting
the proposition that he does.....and distressingly well at that. Then too,
I HAVE stood next to Roger and it strikes me that any theory advanced by
someone big enough to cast one like a bug (ninety feet with a short three
weight, I'd guess) is worth taking seriously.

On the other side of the equation, we have the safe (at this distance)
assumption that Roger probably doesn't know squat about surgery in general
or, more specifically, about the efficacy or advisability of this particular
procedure for the correction of left handed casting deficiencies. This is a
sound argument, marred only by the niggling detail that there doesn't seem
to be any evidence of his having suggested (or supported) the idea in the
first place.

To complicate matters further, in a place like this there will always be a
contingent of fractious individuals who will insist that this is all mere
speculation. An annoying observation, to be sure, but not easily
dismissable, for all that. Furthermore, they (the meddlesome *******s) will
say, since the corrective action is a fait accompli, the point is rendered
moot anyway. This argument, too, is mildly disturbing, but not entirely
without merit on the face of it.

Bottom line? Yes or no......probably.

I'll post pics tomorrow when I change the dressing for the first time...

It occurs to me that the way you shed body parts, you should stick close to
Frank........he could use them to replace the ones he breaks.
