My new trolling motor just came in the mail. It has a chip in the prop
though (i got it off ebay) and im going to replace it (the prop). Since
i cant afford an outboard (hey im 12 gimmie a break) I have to power my
boat with an electric trolling motor. So ill need a prop with a high
pitch so I can move faster.Oh and how do u figure out the pitch of a
prop any way, and how much will I need? The motor is a minn kota
maxxum 55 transom mount, and the boat weighs 136lbs. I'm looking to get
jogging speed out of it. Any sugestions for a prop? Thanks much, Chris.
I've been hearing a lot of good things about Kipawa Propellors. From what I
understand, they've got a little more pitch and a slightly larger diameter
and will give you more thrust over a conventional factory propellor.
