Default rainy day nerd stuff

It's yet another soggy day in NorCal and looking for something to keep
busy with I wrote a script in PHP to search my website's database and
parse out a XML RSS feed

IF, you have an RSS reader and are willing to help ...please ... try

http://www.kimshew.com/flyfish/rss.xml

and see if it works. Report back here, if you will. It validates
ok on one of the sites for that, and looks ok in MY rss reader, but
experience has taught me to expect unpleasant surprizes from my
limited geeking skills.

If I can figure out the sql needed to join several tables, I'll modify
the feed to include the most current updates from all sections, not
just the fishing logs ....
but sql makes my head hurt :-(

fwiw, I make no claims the site has content of interest, I'm just
enjoying a slight mental challenge to pass some time

thanks
Larry

Works nice from my Google home page.
