Default wide gap hooks

I patterned my hookset after Charles's, after fishing with him in Wisconsin.
It's downright mean. Harry has a mean hookset too, I once saw him hookset a
bluegill right out of the water...and it was foul hooked

Thanks Dad... it's just kind of like driving a nail in without a hammer.
That's all.

"NOBODY" has a major hook set like the Bass Pro.

No matter how you do it a sharp hook results in more fish in the boat.
For plastics I pretty much only use Daiichi X-Points and Owner Cutting
Points. These are great hooks. Better IMO even that Gamakatsu hooks.

Most hooks out there now are sharp enough to penetrate a bass lip. Set

the
hook hard that's the key. I also like the Owner hooks but primarily use
the gammies
