promotion after another. When I bought mine about a month ago, they included
a spare spool at no charge.

I'd guess they have a cheap manufacturer in China? but they need to move
the reels in quantity to get the price. It's a fine tooled reel at twice
the price, IMO. Talked to a guy that used one of the larger ones in the
salt on Bonefish and it worked great for him.
