1. What size hook were you using?

2. I would have thrown a buzzbait after the toads, something with a little
noise. Seems the frogs disturbed the fish but not enough to have them hammer
it. A little noise might have gone a long way.

3. Something I started doing last year was adding a trailer hook to my
horney toad hook. I like the Strike King bleeding baits trailer hooks the
best

P.S. Out topwater bite hasn't really turned on yet down here.
