Sun was shining, sky was a beautiful blue, temperature was in the low
sixties. I knocked the leaves off the trusty canoe and chased away the
spiders that took up residence over the winter. I was amazed that I was
able to find all my gear in minutes (being single, I'm allowed to keep
everything in a corner of my kitchen these days...).

Glad to hear that you are gettin' your castin' wings workin' again Stan! I
had planned to fish yesterday, but as things happen to come up...mother's
house needs repairs...replace window sill in front...dig drainage ditch in
back, so that under house will quit flooding...mow grass, um actually, mowed
chickweed, dirt and onions. Anyway, didn't get out to my church on Upp_r
Cre_k Sunday, as I usually do. Next Saturday is open of turkey season, so I
don't know when the window will get finished, the ditch will get drain line
installed, the chickweed, dirt and onions will get mowed again?

I keep tellin' myself taht it was just too pretty yesterday to fish anyway.
