and add the Create a Tiny URL extension, you can 'one click' a tiny url
directly into your clipboard from any page with a long url string(
especially those on database driven sites that have lots of ?id=364&nonsense
=yes type of gobblygook at the end )

I stumbled on this terrific site (the conceptual inverse of tiny url):

It converts a short, easy-to-transmit url to a really, really long,
cumbersome one. :-)
