Is there anything different about the yellow foam used for "dry flies"
Something special in the foam to keep the flies dry?
It's a matter of spacing of the foam strips, Tom. The streamer one
would have bigger spacing than the dry or standard.
Ok, thanks Dave,
I thought perhaps the dry fly yellow box had some special magic foam.

The Orvis water-proof boxes that I directed Dave to yesterday did say that
the foam was specially treated to prevent rusting--I believe.

I could be wrong, but the yellow foam looks like a synthetic chamois type
material to keep the flies dry, or drier. Perhaps this is why 3M/SA calls
the yellow, the "dry fly box"?
