Default Grass carp

I am a big fan of catfish... yummy sweet meat. Also eat many lobsters and
crab.
Its not so much what they eat... Just something about them indivually. Maybe
I relate certain types of fish to having worms...... (((shrug)))

Ever wondered why folk become horrified at the prospect of eating a scum
sucking bottom feeder then visit a restaurant and order Crab or Lobster,
both prolific detritus feeders ?

too bad we couldn't teach them to eat only milfoil then beach themselves
when they were done.
heheheh

I think edibility for many fish depends on where you are. Here in Maine I
don't know a single person who would ever consider eating a sunfish -
(bluegill) or a yellow perch. they are a "trash" fish.

Along the same lines most people won't eat Mackerel or Bluefish either.
Travel somewhere else and it's a whole new story.

I'm sure grass Carp are edible somewhere in the world... just like beef
rectum. Both might be very tastely.. I just don't want to try it right
now.

In My area (KY) they are very good eating but from what I am told
this can vary due to their diet of aquatic plants.
