Default Help for fishing this pond

wrote:

The main problem with the pond is the mucky weed bottom. I'm not sure
what the weed is called, but it's dark, mossy, very fine, smelly, and
completely fouls every bait that touches it. That's too bad because I
prefer to fish the bottom or bump bottom for bass. e.g. with plastic
worms. I have caught a couple on Texas rig plastic worms, but it's an
exercise in frustration on the bottom. Free swimming Slug-gos work
pretty good, but so far only working on smaller bass, 1-2 pounds.
Strategy and tactics appreciated. A row boat is available

I have invented the absolute solution to that problem, but guys on this
new group give me a great deal of grief when I talk about it.

You can easily fish just right above the gunk, with action you have
never dreamed possible with a lure
