These are mostly Blue Winged Olives, photographed less than
two hours ago in the Lower Madison, in Beartrap canyon,
right before the wind came up and chased us out.


nice, Sandy......one notable thing I have noticed before about your western
Baetis/BWO hatches is the range of
body coloration. I figure I am seeing multiple species, or
perhaps subspecies, as much of the other colors and markings are quite
similar.
