Default Resources for custom tackle

Steve,

I see the St. croix blanks are probably the best "bang for the buck" blank.
They are in my price range. I have never used a st. croix rod and have heard
mixed feelings on them. I really like my BPS Extreme rods $99.00. What
blanks are those made with?

I've been making my own bucktails, soft plastics and now I want to get
into crank baits. I purchased some pre-painted stuff on closeout from
stamina lures and await the delivery. I am bummed because I sold my
airbrush on ebay last year because I had no use for it.... go figure.

I was thinking about getting pre-made blanks instead of doing the whole
RTV crankbait mold thing.

I was also thinking about making my own rods.

Where do those of you who make your own lures, rods, etc. get the best
deals and best quality components?

If you don't want to reveal your sources, I can respect that.

Dave,

A good source for much of what you're looking for can be found at
http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/ . They have a wide variety of lure making
and rod making components to go with any budget.

So, are you coming to the Northwoods Classic?
