Default Orvis Pro Guide2 Waders. Opinions?

wrote in message
oups.com...
I need to purchase a pair of waders. The Orvis Pro Guide2 Waders are
on sale for $189 - normal price is $289 -- (and I have another $35
off). So, $154. They seem to be well made. Does anyone own them and
can you offer your impressions? Are there suggestions for a better
wader in that price range? For example, anything better at Cabela's?

Thanks in advance.

Ross

My experience leads to me say .... avoid Cabela's waders

My experience also leads me to say ... avoid Orvis waders

Both companies are good about replacing failed products but that don't keep
your butt dry

I'm currently using Dan Bailey waders, have two full seasons on a pair (
probably near 150 days ) and no problems ... they are around $200 if I
remember right ...
