Default Fishing around Sisters and Bend

Gee thanks, Bob. ".... about a hundred other good fishingsites within
about an hour's drive of Sisters". I'll tell the Chamber of Commerce
and the Homebuilders' Association to send you your checks....

Other Bob: it is kinda true, though. Good number of options. Metolius
is closest to Sisters but gets very crowded in the summer. Even with
the crowds, however, the Green Drake hatch in May/June is well worth
the effort. This is by far my favorite tie for that hatch

If you like stillwater fishing, the lakes Bob mentions plus several
more along the Cascades highway south of Bend will last most of 4
months. For both rivers and lakes, bring a 4 or 5 wt for trout and a 7
or 8 weight if you're interested in chasing steelhead on the Deschutes.
Go to the Fly Fisher's Place in Sisters and talk to the owner, Jeff
Perrin.

Do follow the Oregon board on Westfly. Lots of good info there.
