I use Power Pro on all my rods, no matter what typr of reel. I put 10
lb test on my ultralight (approx same dia as 4lb mono) and 20 lb test
on my medium spinning rig. I have found that most line problems on
spinning reels can be attributed to lin twist. I tie the Power Pro
main line to a ball bearing swivel and then tie a flourocarbon leader
onto the other end of the swivel. This has greatly reduced tangeling
on my spinning reels.
